Scholastica Wilson Founder and President of the nonprofit – Center for Leadership Development (CLD) and its international GiveCare project that uses entrepreneurship for leadership development through micro finance dedicated to women empowerment and youth development. Scholastica Wilson, for close to twenty years, has worked across a wide spectrum of people, initiatives and organizations, assisting for profit and nonprofit organizations in the United States and Africa to meet set-up and strategy needs. A George Washington University MBA with specialization in international development, Scholastica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Statistics (1996) and a Master’s degree in Economics (2002). In June 2018, she will complete a doctorate in Transformational Leadership. She is certified by the German Competency Based Economies Formation of Enterprises Program to train trainers of entrepreneurs on starting and managing small businesses. Scholastica is also a certified mediator and conciliator and specializes in resolving personal and workplace conflicts. She is currently executive director, community programs, Christian Development Foundation (CDF), where she is responsible for development projects in Africa. She has served on several think tanks including, United Nations Development Program (UNDP)’s Learning Bank Committee of the National Partnership Forum (NPF), Lagos Nigeria. Scholastica also served as Mentor/Coach, Strategic Partners Initiative (2006), a capacity building program for non-profits and community based organization of the Office of Partnerships & Grants Development, Mayor’s Office Washington DC.
